Connecting importers and exporters through structured trade solutions.
JAR LIMITED manages import and export trading for garments, handicrafts, tea and selected products — with a focus on HS codes, documentation and coordination with logistics and marine units of JAR GROUP.
Trade built on documentation and coordination
From container booking and port handling to supplier coordination and final documentation, our trading activity is supported by the wider JAR GROUP ecosystem.
What we do in Import–Export trading
We act as a structured trading partner — handling sourcing, negotiation, documentation support and coordination with logistics and marine services for both imports and exports.
Export-side trading
For exports from Bangladesh, we work with factories, workshops and producers to move goods out of the country in a compliant, documented way.
- Product consolidation and coordination across multiple suppliers.
- Support with HS codes, packing lists and commercial invoices.
- Production monitoring, cargo readiness and shipment planning.
- Linkage with shipping, logistics and marine partners in JAR GROUP.

Import-side trading
For select categories, we support imports into Bangladesh — always respecting national regulations and banking compliance.
- Identifying suitable overseas suppliers and verifying basic credentials.
- Clarifying import documentation expectations and duties (in coordination with your customs and banking advisors).
- Coordinating with shipping and logistics units for inbound cargo.
- Ensuring that communication remains clear between buyer, supplier and logistics teams.

The exact steps vary by product and destination, but our general process helps keep things structured and documented.
You share an enquiry by email indicating whether it is an import or export request, product category, target volume, destination/origin and timelines.
We review feasibility, share a basic commercial indication and clarify if the request can be handled under our trading scope.
Product specifications, HS codes, packing standards and documentation needs are discussed and aligned with both sides.
Once terms are agreed, the trade is confirmed through proforma invoice or contract, and bank arrangements (L/C, TT etc.) are aligned.
Sourcing, consolidation, quality checks and cargo readiness are managed, with coordination to the relevant logistics or marine teams.
Required documents (commercial invoice, packing list, BL, certificates where applicable) are prepared and shared as per banking and regulatory requirements.
After shipment, documents are handed over through bank or directly as agreed, and we remain available for follow-up support and future planning.
When both sides are satisfied, the relationship moves towards repeated shipments, additional product lines and deeper cooperation.
